COAHOMA - The Coahoma School District decided to join a large majority of Texas public school districts and call for a change in the state's testing system.

At Tuesday night's meeting, trustees passed the resolution.

Their Superintendent said the test fails to gauge how modern students are being taught in class rooms today.

The resolution was drafted by the Texas Association of School Administrators and has been signed by more than 80 percent of school districts in the state.
