ODESSA - With three weeks until Election Day, more and more organizations are throwing their support behind the Ector County School District's bond.
The latest to come out in support is the Education Foundation.
The Board of Directors announced they were backing the bond on Tuesday morning.
Les Littlejohn, the President of the Board, listed off reasons as to why the group thinks the bond is so important including overcrowding and outdated buildings.
Members of Odessans for Kids, the political action committee paying for advertisement for the bond, were also there as were members of the Odessa Chamber of Commerce.
If approved, the $130-million dollar bond will help the district move to a middle school system, and add three new elementary schools and expand the high schools to make room for ninth grade students.
