HOBBS, N.M. - Hobbs officers are cracking down on fake pot.
In the past week, two people were arrested for driving high on spice and two juveniles suffered harsh reactions to the drug.
As a result, officers decided to go undercover to bust the drug dealers.
They busted two New Mexico stores that were selling spice.
Undercover officers seized $88,000 worth of synthetic marijuana from the Up In Smoke Shop on east Marland.
However when they tried to bust the Smokers Outlet on East Marland, all of the drugs were suddenly gone.
Interim Police Chief Chris McCall says this is a warning to all shops that are selling the fake pot
