HOBBS - A man from New Mexico is behind bars after running from the law for a couple of years.
Gerald Martinez of Hobbs was originally wanted by the police for shoplifting two years ago.
But ever since then he's literally run away from the cops.
Once he even kept running after being tazed.
Hobbs Police were finally able to arrest Martinez at his home but not without a fight.
After they forced his front door open, Martinez was still trying to push the door so they wouldn't enter.
Well that didn't work and he was put in cuffs and taken to jail.
