One Person Transported to the Hospital After Accident in Midland County

MIDLAND COUNTY - One person was transported to the hospital after an accident with an 18 wheeler in Midland County.

Officials tell NewsWest 9, the accident happened in the 3300 block of East Highway 158.

Officials say a black SUV was traveling westbound on Highway 158 at a high rate of speed when an 18 wheeler, who was stopped in a turning lane facing eastbound was sideswiped by the SUV.

The driver of the SUV was transported to the hospital.
