NEAR NOTREES - Investigators say the driver who hit and killed an Odessa man east of Notrees and then fled the scene was drunk.

Luz Gonzales is charged with intoxication manslaughter.

Investigators say she hit 67-year-old Cruz Gomez while he was walking along Highway 302 and kept on going to Winkler County.

Gomez died at the scene.
