If you have kids in school, there will be no classes on Monday in observance of Columbus Day.
Students at Ector County, Midland, Greenwood and Big Spring ISD get the day off.
Teachers aren't so lucky though as it's a staff development day for them.
To see if your child will have class, you can log onto your districts website.
Banks will be closed but Midland and Ector County offices will be open for regular business.
