MIDLAND - Four people are in the hospital after a drag race went terribly wrong in Midland.

The race ended with a head on crash next to the Horseshoe Arena on south Garfield on Thursday afternoon.

We're told the two trucks were racing on the street when both trucks crashed into a white car.

The impact caused the trucks to roll over and land in a field.

All three drivers were taken to the hospital along with a passenger in the white car.

There's no word on their conditions.
