PRESIDIO - An Odessa man who died in a head on collision with an ambulance last Friday in Presidio has been identified.
State Troopers say Rudolfo Sotelo-Guanespen was driving on Highway 67 in bad weather when he hit the ambulance head on.
According to the Big Bend Now website, investigators think he may have been drunk because they found broken beer bottles in his truck.
His passenger, who survived, told authorities he had been drinking while driving.
Rainy conditions and taking a curve took fast may also have contributed to the wreck.
The passenger, two EMT's and a patient were all taken to Big Bend Medical Center in Alpine with non-life threatening injuries.
