ODESSA - We're learning new information about the Odessa boy who passed out underneath a house seven weeks ago.

10-year-old Ivory Carter, Junior, is back at home but he's still in a coma.

However, his mother tells NewsWest 9 he is on his way to recovery and is showing signs of improvement.

In August, Carter chased a lizard underneath a neighbor's house.

Family members say he had an asthma attack and his father had to rescue him.

He was in a Lubbock hospital for over a month but was released to go home about two weeks ago.

His mother tells NewsWest 9 she's grateful he's still alive and is asking everyone to continue to pray for him.
