BIG SPRING - Big Spring Police are investigating a robbery at a local restaurant on Monday night.
The Chicken Express on FM 700 was already closed for the night.
The workers were cleaning up and counting cash when police say a black man slipped in through a back door that was unlocked.
We're told he hit a worker over the head, grabbed some cash and took off.
Witnesses told officers they followed the guy outside and saw him meet up with another man.
Then the two went into a nearby wooded area.
The employee who was hit was not seriously injured.
