ODESSA - An argument that grew out of control led to a teenager shooting his aunt's boyfriend in Odessa.

When Police were called out to a home on Muskingum Avenue, they found Darnell Polk shot in the hand and hip.

The aunt told police, her nephew 17-year-old Dara Woods, was the one that pulled the trigger.

According to the affidavit, the couple had been arguing when woods tried to get involved.

The two men began to fight and Polk threw the teenager across the living room.

Polk says he went into a bedroom and that's when woods followed him and shot him.
