New developments in the story of a special needs teacher in Andrews who parents claimed abused their children.

The Texas Education Agency has completed their investigation on the Andrews teacher accused by parents of abusing their special needs students.

That teacher, Terri Ragland, has received a inscribed reprimand on her elementary English and early education teaching certificates.

She also voluntarily surrendered her special education certification to the Texas Education Agency.

Ragland resigned from Clearfork Elementary back in April after the Andrews School Board voted to terminate her contract that's after parents had come forward with tape recordings of the alleged abuse.

No criminal charges were ever brought against Ragland for the alleged abuse.
