Texas-New Mexico Railroad to Start Shipping Oil in Rail Cars For First Time in 30 Years

It hasn't been done for a while but the Texas-New Mexico railroad will start shipping oil out of the area in rail cars for the first time in 30 years.

Oil production is way up and pipelines are full so they need another way to move it out faster.

Right now, only crude oil is being transported.

Earlier this year, a $10 million rehabilitation project was done on the railroad from Monahans to Lovington.
