MIDLAND - If you're looking to get a new pet from the animal shelter in Midland now's the time to do it because they're waiving adoption fees for the rest of the month.
Normally, it's almost $60 to adopt a pet.
However, until October first, it will only be $22 and that's just for the license and rabies shot.
Midland Animal Services tells NewsWest 9, they've had record low euthanasia numbers and they want to keep that going.
The animal shelter is located on North Fairgrounds Road in Midland.
The shelter is open Monday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 5:30 and on Friday from 10 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.
