Beer/Wine Sales Vote Approved in Eunice, Tatum, Lovington

NEW MEXICO - If you live in Lovington, Eunice or Tatum, New Mexico, you can now go out to dinner and enjoy a cold one because residents voted in favor of wine and beer being sold in restaurants on Tuesday.

But there are some rules in order for restaurants to begin selling.

They must apply for a license with the State of New Mexico and then it has to be approved by the City Council.

Customers have to buy food in order to get the drinks.

Plus there's a limit of either three beers or two glasses of wine per meal and no hard liquor.
