Three Suspects Arrested in Connection With Burglary of Odessa Business

ODESSA – Three people are behind bars in connection with a robbery at an Odessa Business.

Odessa Police tell NewsWest 9, two 16-year-old Hispanic males were arrested along with 18-year-old Daniel Veloz.

As you may recall, a truck rammed into Tejas Shooting Sports Building on Monday night.

Police say three guys stole the truck from a Stripes Convenience Store on Yukon then hit the building on purpose to get inside.

Security video showed the men running inside and stealing weapons.

A total of six weapons were taken, three rifles and three .45 caliber handguns were taken.

Police have recovered three of the firearms and are still looking for the other three weapons.

All three have been charged with engaging in organized criminal activity.
