MIDLAND - An armed man, who barricaded himself in a Midland home, is getting help from mental health experts.
He came out of his home on East Golf Course Road on Tuesday night without a fight.
Police were called there for a disturbance around 8:30 p.m.
Officers were warned there were guns in the home.
The swat team, snipers, police and even a DPS helicopter surrounded the house and the neighborhood was evacuated.
The man was eventually surrendered and was taken in for a mental health evaluation.
