MIDLAND COUNTY - A portion of Interstate 20 in Midland County is back open after two separate accidents created a massive traffic jam on Thursday afternoon.
It began when a pickup and a car crashed head-on in the northbound service road of I-20, just west of Midkiff.
The driver of the car was taken to the hospital and was expected to be okay while the driver of the pick-up was treated at the scene.
Not far from that wreck, an 18-wheeler lost control and jackknifed in the median of the interstate.
