ANDREWS COUNTY - Andrews County got a little bit richer on Wednesday and it's all thanks to low level radioactive waste.
Waste Control Specialists handed the County their first check since they started disposing of it.
$630,000 to be exact.
That's the county's fee Waste Control Specialists pays under an agreement to disposing of the low level radioactive waste.
Waste Control Specialists started taking it in July and more money is on the way.
Andrews County will be getting a quarterly check from the company.
Voters passed a $75 million bond to provide financing for the facility.
