NEW DETAILS: Police Catch Robbery Suspects After Chase in Midland

We now know the men behind the masks during Tuesday night's hold up at Eskimo Hut that turned into a police chase. 39-year-old Sandy Walls and 19-year-old Nicholas Johnson, both from Midland, are still in jail awaiting a bond hearing. Both are charged with aggravated robbery.

MIDLAND - We now know the men behind the masks during Tuesday night's hold up at Eskimo Hut that turned into a police chase.

39-year-old Sandy Walls and 19-year-old Nicholas Johnson, both from Midland, are still in jail awaiting a bond hearing.

Both are charged with aggravated robbery.

It all started at the Eskimo Hut on Midkiff and Wadley around 8 p.m. Tuesday night.

The two guys, both flashing guns, went in and demanded cash.

Once they got it, they took off in car.

Luckily, no one in the shop was hurt.

Someone called in the robbery and the chase was on.

Police chased the duo throughout Midland.

At one point, officers thought they hit someone on a curb.

Turns out, police say Johnson jumped out.

Walls kept going in the car until he stopped finally stopped at a home on east Oak, near Lee Freshman, and fled on foot.

Walls was caught but Johnson couldn't be found.

Police set up a perimeter and K-9's were brought in to search.
