MIDLAND - There was a buzz over books in Midland on Thursday.
The Midland County Library squashed rumors about what kinds of books they'll be offering, especially at their new branch.
A special meeting was held at the Petroleum Club on Thursday to talk about the future of the library system.
Library officials shot down rumors the new branch won't feature traditional books.
The new Centennial Library will offer E-books, paperback and hardback books will still be available.
That branch is set to open by spring of next year.
The branch will be located next to Best Buy in the old Aldridge Furniture Store Building.
In addition to the excitement over the new library, they're also going to take a fresh look at the downtown library to see if it needs any improvements.
