MIDLAND - Health concerns across the basin as the deadly West Nile Virus count continues to grow.
NewsWest 9 has learned that someone from Midland County has died from the mosquito-borne illness.
That makes it the second death in West Texas.
The first death came out of Andrews County.
So far, there have been a total of 14 cases around the basin.
Most numbers stem from Andrews County with nine cases, three cases have hit Ector County and two cases are in Midland County.
We're also told that Medical Center Hospital has treated eight patients but none have been children.
