A trial is underway for a Midland man charged with intoxication manslaughter. 31-year-old Zachary Hernandez was arrested back in 2011 after driving his motorcycle drunk and killing his passenger, 22-year-old Heidi Evans.

MIDLAND - A trial is underway for a Midland man charged with intoxication manslaughter.

31-year-old Zachary Hernandez was arrested back in 2011 after driving his motorcycle drunk and killing his passenger, 22-year-old Heidi Evans.

Police say neither were wearing their helmets.

Hernandez's blood alcohol was three times over the legal limit.
