MIDLAND/ODESSA - Despite a shortage of bus drivers, students made it to class on time in Midland and Odessa.

Drivers have gone through intense training as well as dry runs on both morning and evening routes.

With running with more routes and less drivers that puts them at a disadvantage but both districts are doing what they have to do to make sure students get to where they need to be on time.

If you are interested in becoming a bus driver, salaries start anywhere from $10 to $12 per hour and include a full benefits package.

For information on requirements or to sign up as a bus driver, call the School District's Transportation Division.
