ODESSA - A little Odessa boy continues to fight for his life and now his neighbors are chipping in to support him.

A bake sale was held for 10-year-old Ivory Carter, Junior, who remains in a coma in a Lubbock hospital.

Last week, the little boy got stuck underneath a neighbor's house and his family believes he had an asthma attack.

Neighborhood and school friends wanted to help the little boy and his family with the growing stack of medical bills.

The group baked sweets, sold drinks and snacks.

Now they're just hoping their efforts pay off.

"We're just waiting and praying that he comes home to us because we were real close to him so hopefully he comes home soon," Neighbor and Friend, Sylvia Colunga, said.

An account has been set up to help the Carter family.

If you'd like to donate, just go to American State Bank and ask for the Ivory Carter Fund.
