ODESSA – H.E.B. customers across the state took a stance against hunger in this year's "Help End Hunger" campaign.
The record-setting campaign was raised over $400,000 to benefit 15 Texas food banks.
On Thursday, the Odessa H.E.B. presented their donation to the West Texas Food Bank.
"H.E.B. donated $7,000 to the food bank, that's going to represent 28,000 meals that we can buy," Earl Graham, Food Resource Coordinator for the West Texas Food Bank, said.
"Help End Hunger" is an annual campaign in H.E.B. stores across Texas where customers are encouraged at checkout to tear off a coupon and add that amount to the final grocery bill.
