MIDLAND - The Horseshoe in Midland got the green light on Monday to get together designs for expanding the facility.
Mike Dooley, who manages the Horseshoe, says the architects have been chosen and that the expansions will come in two parts.
The first will be a multi-purpose space that can hold up to 5,000 people.
The next is a horse barn, which would keep dirt in the main arena year round.
Nothing has been decided on yet.
The decision on Monday was to simply have a design team investigate how much money would be required.
