HOBBS, N.M. - The City of Hobbs will be spraying for mosquitos starting on Wednesday night and will continue on Thursday night.
Spraying will begin at dusk weather permitting.
The trucks will spray street fronts every other street with an ultra-fine mist that is spread by the wind.
The city is asking residents to help in mosquito prevention by dumping any standing water such as old tires or bird baths on their property.
They say if you wish to keep your bird bath full to replace the stagnant water with fresh water every few days.
For more information, you can contact the city of Hobbs Park and Recreation Department.
