Big Spring Economic Development Corporation Future on November Ballot

BIG SPRING - The future of the Economic Development Corporation in Big Spring is now in the hands of voters.

On Tuesday night, Big Spring City Council decided to put a hotly debated issue on the November ballot.

It proposes that the E.D.C. become a 4-B operation, meaning the city can dip into their funds at any time.

Voters will be the ones to ultimately decide and some are worried the move could drain the E.D.C. of funds.
