MIDLAND COUNTY - A Midland teen has been released from the hospital after a backhoe accident on Tuesday.
It happened around 9:30 p.m. Tuesday night on West County Road 53 in Midland County.
19-year-old Darcy Conley and his 18-year-old brother, Brandon, were removing a gas tank from a pickup and were using a backhoe to lift the truck.
The backhoe died and the pair tried to jumpstart it.
When the machine turned on, it jumped forward and ran over Brandon from foot to head.
He was taken to the hospital but has since been released.
No word on the extent of his injuries.
