ODESSA - A big fire in Odessa on Sunday afternoon sent crews scrambling to get the blaze under control.
Firefighters responded to a grassfire in the 3900 block of West County Road in South Odessa.
The flames quickly spread to the JAS Trucking business nearby forcing police to block some streets in the area.
Burning tires sent huge plumes of black smoke in the air that could be seen for miles.
Several tankers and engines were called in to help but crews finally got it under control about an hour later.
A mobile home was lost in the blaze but the fire did not touch the business building.
No word if anyone was inside the home at the time.
A cause is under investigation.
