MARTIN COUNTY - A body was found along the Interstate near Stanton on Friday morning.
Authorities have identified the man as 50-year-old Joe Shipley.
Martin County Sheriff John Woodward says someone discovered Shipley's body and called to report it around 7:15 a.m.
The man was found on the north service road of I-20 near mile marker 160.
Right now, officials say it looks like it was a hit and run.
