ODESSA - Dozens of golf teams teed off on Wednesday for a great cause.
The Harmony Home Children's Advocacy Center held their annual fundraiser at the Odessa Country Club.
They hosted a four person scramble golf tournament to raise money to help fund programs at the center.
The funds benefit the more than 500 children that walk through their doors every year.
Executive Director, Rodney Hall, says the tournament also gives them the chance to thank the community for their support.
"We just appreciate people coming out. We appreciate the support we get from the community and it's a great opportunity for us to actually get to meet people and shake hands and tell them how much we appreciate having them," Hall said.
Hall says individual teams and corporate sponsors usually raise around $70,000 to $75,000 every year during their golf tournament.
