Double Murder Suspect Returns to Gaines County After Waiving Her Extradition

GAINES COUNTY - A woman who was arrested in Alabama last month for a double murder in Gaines County is now back in Texas.

We're told Desirae Mata was brought back late Wednesday night after waiving her right to extradition.

Mata, and three other men, were arrested for two murders that happened back in may in Gaines County.

John Allen and Jay Doyal were found shot to death in a home in Gaines County.

Mata is charged with capital murder and her bond has been set at $1 million.

The three other men arrested are all in Lea County Detention Center in New Mexico and are fighting to stay there.
