ODESSA - An Odessa man was sentenced to four months in jail for a deadly drunk driving accident.

That's after 22-year-old Daniel Marquez plead guilty to intoxication manslaughter and intoxication assault.

Marquez was driving drunk when he crashed into a tree back in 2010, killing his passenger, Brady Todd.

In addition to the jail time, Marquez will also be on probation for the next 10 years.

We're told this plea deal was made at the request of the Todd family who didn't want Marquez to serve straight prison time.
