MIDLAND - A person is in the hospital after gunshots rang out in Midland.

Scanner reports about the shooting came out around 12:30 a.m. Wednesday morning.

Not much information has been available yet.

Midland Police have told NewsWest 9 that at least one person was taken to the hospital.

Their injuries are unknown.

It's also unclear if an arrest was made.

Midland Police are investigating the shooting.
