ODESSA - A little girl was pinned into a building on Tuesday night after a bizarre car wreck.

Police say Martina Hernandez was drunk and arguing with her husband on 9th Street in Odessa.

Hernandez tried to hit her husband with the car and instead crashed into a SUV and car instead.

She pushed the car into a building pinning seven year old Tasia Pryor.

Police say Hernandez tried to run after she hit the girl but a witness detained her until officers arrived.

The girl was taken to the hospital and flown to Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock. She has extensive injuries and the hospital says she is being "guarded" and watched closely.

Hernandez is charged with failure to stop and render aid, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and intoxication assault.
