ODESSA - On Monday, Medical Center Hospital kicked off National Health Center week.
On Monday morning, representatives with Medical Center and the city met up to show their support.
The week highlights everything that community medical centers do for the communities they're in.
Julian Beseril, the Executive Director for Medical Center Hospital Pro-Care tells NewsWest 9, this is the first chance Medical Center Hospital has had to celebrate this way and highlight the great clinics Medical Center Hospital has.
He says that it's thanks to clinics like the Family Health Clinic and the Clinics at both Wal-Marts that they are able to help the community, no matter what.
"It is important to let everyone know that there doesn't have to be a language barrier, a monetary barrier to getting healthy. Medical Center Hospital and Family Health Clinic are committed to the health of the community," Beseril said.
