Subway Restaurant in Big Lake Donates Sales to Mitchell Family

BIG LAKE - Folks in Big Lake are still trying to cope with the loss of one of their deputies.

On Saturday, the community came out to help during this difficult time.

The Subway Restaurant in Big Lake donated a portion of their sales to the family of Josh Mitchell.

The 26-year-old Reagan County Deputy was shot and killed earlier this week.

The shooting led to an overnight standoff with the suspect eventually being caught alive.

We're told that the effort was very successful.
