HOBBS, NEW MEXICO - A leaky ceiling at a Hobbs school causes the roof to come crumbling down.
According to the Hobbs News-Sun, the Washington Heights Nursery is preparing for demolition.
This weekend, the classroom for the head start program will be knocked down.
The collapse began about two weeks ago.
Administrators say dust began trickling down and students were quickly evacuated.
Five days later, then entire roof caved in.
Over $10,000 worth of material and school equipment was destroyed and investigators say the faulty construction from 50 years ago is to blame.
