ODESSA - We've all heard the outrageous costs of apartment living in the Basin but now we have the numbers to prove it.

Back in September 2006, you could get a one bedroom apartment for around $360 in Odessa.

Fast forward six years later and that same apartment will run you over $600.

For a three bedroom apartment in 2006, that would run you a little over $600.

But today, you can expect to pay over $1,200.

Right now, there are 90 apartment complexes in Odessa and 98 percent of them are at capacity.

The Andalucia Villas is expecting to open up in October with over 400 units.

There are still some of those available but expect to shell out almost $2,000 for a one-bedroom apartment.
