PLEASANT FARMS - A scary situation for an Ector County family. Emergency crews rushed a toddler to the hospital on Friday night.
The Ector County Sheriff's Office responded to the 15000 block of South Quartz in Pleasant Farms.
When they arrived, they were told a 15-month-old Harlee Wampler had fallen into the family's backyard pond.
The child has somehow wandered away and fell into the pond.
The mother of the child began CPR and family members called 911.
The toddler was transported to Medical Center Hospital and she is currently doing well.
