MIDLAND - A Midland man is dead after an accident in Midland.
The accident happened around 5:30 p.m. on Friday afternoon near the intersection of Loop 250 and Interstate 20 in front of the Midland DPS Office.
According to officials, a truck driven by 22-year-old Joshua Urias, was exiting Loop 250 when the driver hit some water, lost control, went into a side skid and hit a tree.
Midland Police tell NewsWest 9, after the truck hit a tree, the truck hit a parked car and the parked car rammed into another parked car.
The woman in the parked car, 44-year-old Phyliss Wetmore, was transported to Midland Memorial and is currently in stable condition.
