CRANE COUNTY - Two West Texas counties have already given their support for a groundwater conservation district and now a third county has joined them.
On Tuesday, the Crane County Judge's Office confirmed that they have voted to approve the formation of the district.
They were the last of the three counties to approve it with Ward and Winkler counties throwing their hats in the ring back on July ninth.
Now that all three counties have joined together, a bill to form the district will be sent to state legislators.
That bill will be voted on next Spring.
