MIDLAND - Midlanders have been asking NewsWest 9, how much longer they'll have to deal with that bleach smell in their water.
It will be a few more weeks.
Right now, the city is in the middle of a cleaning process to control biofilm in the water system.
Biofilm is a naturally occurring organic matter that if left untreated, can cause the water to have a bad taste or smell.
The process began last Monday and will take about a month.
It is still safe to drink and shower in, it just has an unpleasant chlorine smell.
