ODESSA - Basin PBS made a big move on Monday but we're not about their offices.

On Monday, Basin PBS began moving their transmission equipment from the Odessa College campus.

They are moving the equipment to a newer tower near music city mall.

So what does that mean for viewers??

If you watch PBS over the air with an antenna, you won't be able to see the signal.

However if you catch them on cable or satellite, you should ok.

General Manager Daphne Dowdy tells NewsWest 9, this is all part of a long process to make the station better.

"It's just part of a long term growth process that Basin PBS has been going through over the last couple of years and we're just culminating as, what I think, a stronger better station," Dowdy said.
