CARLSBAD, N.M. - A motorcycle accident took the life of a Carlsbad man over the weekend.
According to the Carlsbad Current-Argus, 30-year-old Carlos Duran was riding a Kawasaki motorcycle on State Road 31 when he crashed into an 18-wheeler that had slowed to make a right turn.
Duran was airlifted to Carlsbad Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.
The truck driver wasn't hurt.
