COLORADO CITY - Colorado City Animal Control is investigating a case of animal cruelty after a beheaded cat was found behind a local business.
The police were called out last week after workers stumbled upon the cat lying near the building.
It had rained that day but the cat was dry.
They think someone had put it in a nearby dumpster the night before then another animal dragged it by the building.
We're told Animal Control is surveying the neighborhood nearby for signs of animal cruelty.
