MIDLAND - A man who robbed a bank in Midland learned his punishment on Thursday.
Mark Willmann was sentenced to a little more than five years in prison plus three years' probation.
He also has to pay back the $530 he stole.
Willmann robbed the Bank of America on Garfield Street back in February.
He approached a teller, handed her a note demanding money and claimed he had a gun.
Willmann then took off with the cash.
Within a few hours, he was found hiding out at the Royal Inn in Odessa.
He pled guilty to the robbery back in April.
